  • Refurbish hospital and staff offices into treatment rooms with a main circulation area, glazed partition treatment bays and a full suite of staff facilities for the new Acute Assessment Ward within the Queens Centre at Castle Hill Hospital.

  • The project involved taking existing rooms and refurbishing, as well as building brand new treatment rooms around a main circulation area

    • Main circulation area to provide an open plan room into 6 bay treatment rooms with full length glass sliding doors and glass wall panels.

    • New doors fitted throughout the ward.

    • Refurbished storerooms, utility and office rooms with new furniture and decoration.

    • Installation of new IPS handwash units throughout the ward.

    • Full new kitchen installation.

    • Full new clean store/dispensary for medical drug storage with furniture, cupboards, shelving and cabinets.

    • Refurbished treatment rooms with bead head trucking, IPS handwash units, full en-suite facilities and decorated throughout with new blinds.

    • Medigas installation throughout the ward.

    • A state-of-the-art digital nurse system installed to run via wi-fi to increase patient safety and nurse efficiency.

    • Full new flooring, ceilings and decoration throughout the ward and Helix CMS finished off by boxing all pipework with Kydex.
