Extension of the existing Queens Centre to deliver a new Immunology department to provide patients and staff with a distinct department to solely focus on Immunology.

Delivered in a record time period, relying on seamless interaction with the Client, design team, Helix project team members and key trade subcontractors from the supply chain, all working collaboratively with constant clear communication.
As a result, despite several Client driven changes within the scheme, the project was completed on time and within the overall affordability envelope set at project inception. This was achieved by an extremely focused approach to monitoring, reporting and project programme sequencing.

From building new walls for consultation rooms to installing innovative lighting and suspended acoustic ceilings with radiant panel heaters, right down to hanging curtain rails and decorating - every single detail was carefully considered with skill, precision and the end user in-mind.
Built new walls to make the space into 3 new consultation rooms and a large patient treatment lounge
Timber glazed frame was left exposed to allow natural daylight to two of the consulting rooms
Installed new MF acoustic and suspended ceilings
Installed IPS units throughout the department to manage hand-washing and infection control
Fitted out the rooms with ceiling radiant panel heaters, curtain rails and lighting
Renewed parts of the flooring
Completed painting and decorating throughout all areas of the department
