Remodel and refurbishment to extend the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, consisting of a 4-phase programme to be completed in a live ward with critically ill newborn and premature babies

Implementation a phased approach to cause minimum disruption, as well as hoarding and segregation of works to keep the live site secure and safe. Our experts put infection control measures in place to ensure no dust and debris cross contamination of air supply, closing dampers to protect ventilation.

During the refurbishment, new IPS/UPS and breakers were installed to the electrical circuit which required meticulous planning and risk assessments, as well as strong communication with the NICU healthcare team.
